FREE CHEMISTRY TUTORING
Hello to all,
Macomb Community College and the Macomb ISD are partnering again this year to offer free tutoring to high school chemistry students for the upcoming semester. Student feedback from past years has been very positive and we are pleased to be able to offer the program again. (Note - while we want to start generating a list of student requests as soon as possible, please be aware that placements and support won't actually begin until a week or two after the holiday break.)
So, how can your struggling students benefit? It is very simpleā€¦ Just have your students or parents complete the online form atwww.tinyurl.com/chemtutor2018. All tutoring will be provided by Macomb Community College students and will be provided free of charge.
We will take kids on a first come, first serve basis. Dr. David Tramontozzi (Chemistry professor at MCC) has identified a list of 25 or so college students interested in this service learning project, but we seem to fill up extremely quickly every year and always have a long wait list.
